Events Veggie Kids Play Date Overview: Hosted by VegKC, Veggie Kids Play Date is "an event specifically for veggie kids and parents. Parents can meet one other and discuss issues that affect vegetarian/vegan parents and raising veggie children. It is also a great place to share info, make friends, and organize future play dates and outings." The regular event was started in 2007, with the first two meetings taking place at Eden Alley, a vegetarian restaurant that commonly hosts VegKC meetings.
